My check engine light has come on and I used the Peak tool to check the fault code it read 16 F6. So from what I can tell if I am looking that up correctly it is Table 16 and F6 = "Secondary Air System Flow too low, Cyl #4-6"
What is that....air filter needs to be replaced??? I just had a Inspection 1 done and they replaced the microfilter, but maybe I should replace the air filter. Any feedback welcome

I just found this thread

I will start it froma cold start in the morning and see if the air pump is running correctly.

no offense but an air filter is $15, replace it. But what on earth is a secondary air flow system??

I suggest replacing the check valve (non-return valve) first before buying the air pump. Don't forget the gasket.

Ok I fired it up in the morning and I can hear the air pump kicking in and I pulled the hose looking for any water and there was none, so that is good news. I guess I will look at replacing the check valve next.

I have the same problem, curious if your problem is resolved and what you did

If the pump isn't making excessive noise, the cause of the fault is likely to be a bad hose or valve. Pull all the hoses and check them for cracks or damage, replacing as indicated. If there aren't any problems with the hoses, replace the valve.
