aftermarket junk

so i get an oil fill cap off of ebay. went to put oil in the car last night and the cap brakes dropping the screw and other parts in the valve cover. so here i am taking it all apart and didn't find the screw wtf i guess thats what i get for buying junk just had to vent

Yep! Doesn't mean that its not a crappy situation and we don't feel bad for you though.

Consider using magnetics to retrieve your missing bits.

god i hate ebay these days. It used to be a lot more legit. Now I would never buy anything from there, unless I personally heard of maybe 10 people on a forum who like a seller's product/service.

As it has always been with every purchase in any situation, Caveat Emptor.. (buyer beware).

The trouble with Ebay is that there is so much misrepresentation and so much junk is passed off as great product.

I'll bet it didn't cost much, or that the price was "too good to be true".

Your misfortune & venting is a good reminder for all of us to aviod buying junk.
