wtf
that website looks shady to me
i didn't read closely are they trying to sell you a selector rod or a shift lever, that shift lever looks like the one from an m-coupe which is what i put in my car, if i was you i would just go pick one up from the dealer for like 50 bucks max

where can i get one fore under 56 shipped?
simple go to your local dealership, walk up to parts counter, tell them you want an m-coupe shift lever, they'll say ok, if they don't have it in stock they'll order it, you don't get charged for shipping btw, should be around 50 bucks

how much is the throw shortened by?

how much is the throw shortened by?
i'd say about 60%
i was skeptical about it actually working
but man once i put it in i was amazed
i love it
the m-coupe shifter is longer and straighter, which changes the pivot point of the shift lever, which is what decreases the throw, what those jokers were trying to sell was a peice of metal that basically does the same thing by extending your stock shift lever, but i doubt it works as well or is as reliable as buying a new bmw shift lever

hahahaha wtf ^ the url is like basically softcore asian pron, not too mention wat they are tryin to sell is absolute crap
i'd say about 60%
the M/Z3 lever is only about a 35% reduction in throw, get the one from understeer it has the necessary bend and everything and if you want to shorten the throw even more....

i think every SSK is around the 30-40% reduction range

well i like how you're telling me how much shorter the throw is considering it's sitting in my car right now and has been for a few weeks lol, if i was to go conservative i'd say i got a 50% reduction, my 2nd gear sits where my neutral used to be, if that helps ya out
it was probably a 35% reduction for you since you already had an m3 shifter which is a shorter throw than non m-cars

Designed for street and track use. The computer design and testing on power leverage by changing each individual shifter mechanism and linkages without compromising its shifting smoothly.
that makes no sense, i'd never buy that shifter from them.. hah i vote mz3 lever
