mass air flow sensor problem ...

hi guyz ...

I had a thread couple of days ago asking about the ( high RPM ) ...
well... now i know ..
its the Mass Air Flow sensor ...
since am gonna change it anyway ... ( i was told that i can't repair it ) ...

can i do any mods in there so long am changing it ?
I know this might sound silly :stickoutt
but i didnt do any performance mod ever ...
& i hear a lot about the air intakes & so .. in these forums ...
