I have a 96 BMW 328i Sedan and I am planning on buying the Stage 3 engine software, high flow cold air intake, and high flow throttle body. However I will be buying them one at a time as I can only afford it this way. Buying the software first, should I wait to install the software until I have bought everything and have it installed all at once or would it be ok to go ahead and put the software in and then add the intake and throttle body? What is involved in installing the software and does it require a dealer to do this? All help will be greatly appreciated.

Dinan is half price through August and not a rip off. Do the software and the other stuff later.

the sale goes thru the end of august. i'm getting the performance engine software for my 98 328i next week.
does dinan have the auto tranny chip for 98 328i? can't find it on dinan's page

Do the software 1st if you can, and other stuff later. If you do intake, you definately should do software at the same time. haha, everyone talks crap about Dinan, it's so funny.

It's because Dinan has earned it from years of overcharging and shady product design, distribution, and support.

Ok so I bought the Cosmos intake. still looking at the TMS and Dinan. The throttle body does nothing though? Not even with the software? After installing whichever software I go with does performance upgrades I do after that affect the software in any way? Do they still benefit from the software?
