how can i get to the back of the fog assembly?
stick your head/hand under the bumper. or if you have long and semi-small arms you can reach from behind the headlight assembly.

There's a little clip that you push at the top outer corner of the grille opening. The light will pop right out, and you can access it that way. If you have the owner's manual, it's in there.

There is no need to go underneath the car, or around it, your angle of attack is from the front (through a small hole near the brake duct).

Pop the hood and look down onto the foglight. You should see an upside down "V" shaped peice of plastic attatched to the rear of the foglight that would fit the contours of a flathead screw driver. Push that plastic clip in with a flathead and the corner should pop out.

Be patient and you will get it out.

At each outboard end of the lower grill there are two holes.
The lower hole is for the fog lamp adjustment screw and the upper hole
is for access to the "V" shaped clip that unlocks the lamp assy. (shine a light in there and you can see it)
Just stick a thin screwdriver through the hole and into the "V" push a little and the lamp will pop out.
When reinstalling, put the outboard end of the lamp in first (into the slots)
then push the inboard end in until it locks.

theres a little hole you press with a screw driver near each fog light. its a hole that has a clip near the bottom of it and if u press it with a screwdriver, the fog lights will just pop out. for the passenger fog light, it's located near the top right of the fog light next to the bumper grill (if standing and looking at the front of the car). and for the drivers fog light, it will be in the top left area of the foglight next to the bumper grill also. the hole has a diagnol pathway.

exactly, invest in an owner's manual.
