Grill Problem

Okay. So I used to have flat black kidney grills but lost them to a deer accident.

Do you think it would be better to buy the Overlays or repaint them?

Last time we just painted them. But the real problem...is that the grill is hell to take off. For those of you who have black grills...how did you go about doing it?

I'm so frustrated I literally want to dissasemble my front fascia just to get a clear shot at holding the clips. lol

Start with the 3 clips on top, use a flathead if you can't reach them, then get the side clips out and finally the big one at the bottom. Lightly push out on the grill so the other clips don't refasten while you loosen the rest.

Or just use your fist.
