I PLAN ON REPLACING THE CAT & 2 02 SENSORS ON 97 318I this week. I bought a new cat, 2 new 02's & new gasket & bolts & springs for the job. It looks like a cut & dry easy job but before I do it I figured I would ask in this thread if there is anything I should worry about? Is there anything I can do to make it easier? Thanks in advance guys!

Your O2 sensor should have a dab of anti-seise on it which if you ever have to remove it will be easier. I assume you will install the O2 sensors into the cat before installing it. If so (confirm this first) you can cut the old cat connectors off and use a socket to remove the old O2 sensor. Pretty much straight forward, penatration oil and the right tools...
