i dont have a job due to school, i have football after school till like 6 and i plan on staying in top 50 out of my class. $6 an hour isnt worth ruining my GPA

You think colleges look at your high school GPA?! Dude, I don't know what school you plan on going to or if you really want to pursue a scholarship, which these days no one is handing out unless you make a perfect 4.0, but if you plan on going to someplace like TCU, UNT, UTA, or SMU, a 2.7 will get you in, no sweat.

Don't make the same mistake I made & focus too much on it. I thought colleges actually cared about my 1290 SAT & 24 ACT, guess what, they didn't even take a glance.

If you wanna goto a "nice" college. GPA counts... and why not work hard and earn a scholarship? It's not THAT impossible. I'm getting approx $24k worth of scholarships and grants due to my 3.5+ GPA. No loans with crazy ass interest rates for me anymore. Employers will also look at GPA (college). Might as well build good study habits now.

nah football takes over everything practically pracitce till 6 games on fri, sat i get to do stuff, sun i do the homework. thats gonna be my scedule starting wednesday lol. and its gonna last a week before christmas since were 4A now. were already ranked #1 in our district and season hasnt even started

I feel ya. Back when I was in HS (Plano East), marching band practice ran from the end of school to 6:30 all days but Wed. We travelled to all the games, so weekends were my time to just chill out and relax.
