I'm selling my e30 318is, 1991, Alpenweiss exterior with black and tan interior. I say black and tan because I swapped the original black front and rear seats for the tan vinyl of the same car (black over tan). Rest of interior is stock w/ exception of Sanyo AM/FM/CD player added, and UUC Motorwerks shift knob (5-speed).

Asking $2500, negotiable. OR - would like to swap for reliable, running e30.

Car has 235,000 miles on it, mostly highway, normal maintenance performed. Car was autocrossed a few times three years ago but has been a daily driver most of its life. I am the second owner, and have had the car for approximately 30,000 miles.

Engine is strong, transmission was swapped 20,000 miles ago with another e30 318is because synchros on original transmission were wearing.

Exterior in good shape, no dents or dings. Front spoiler valence and cooling ducts still inact. Stock headlamps, blacked-out grille.

Car needs new radiator - leak has developed at interface with coolant reservoir tank. I thought the tank was at fault but when I got in to replace it I found the radiator was at fault. I am selling because I have neither the time nor the money to keep up with it. Hopefully an enthusiast will have fun with it.

Tires have approximately 20,000 miles on them.

Full disclosure of known problems:

-Radiator leak
-Fan resistor pack needs replacing (fan only running on high speed)
-Blower fan retention strap needs repairing (fan motor rattling)
-left rear fender is displaced (ran my bicycle into it, no crack in bumper, just needs to be re-secured)
-Drivers side window does not roll down (raising arm linkage disconnected)
-small chip in top right corner of windshield - no cracks otherwise
