They've been having commercial about this all last week. You should have received something in the mail too. Hopefully the service will be better now.

^This is true, I have seen the commercials for over a week now. I had Time Warner in Waco back in college and it rocked. The great thing was, I ordered just the Cable Internet, and they didn't block the TV signal, so, I charged my roommates for cable TV and had my internet for free essentially. I think it is still this way.

I got a letter in the mail last week. Comcast and Time Warner together purchased Adelphia and part of the agreement (while they were divvying it up) is that Comcast gives up the North Texas market to Time Warner.

I feel for you guys!! In El Paso we have Time Warn. and it is by far the worst service, not to mention expensive as hell!! I am to the point of looking into Dish Network or something! I hope with all these accuisitions the service will improve!

They ALL suck...
I have dish becasue Iget it almost free (wife still works there)
Time warner is ok, but god, if yo ever need service, just plan to be without for a week.
Called b/c my cable was out, and 5 days later they show up to find that my line had been disconnected inside the lockbox across the street.
The CSr got pissed when I asked for my time without service for the days I was without service, on top of my $20 for the tech being late. Then I had to call again becasue she didn't give it to me, but wound upo getting that months service free.
Guess It was worth the 2 hours I spent on 3 phone calls picking menu options to try and get a person on the phone.
