I bought a 1993 325i parts car yesterday for 600$ front end damage, to get all the stuff i need for my 1993 325i manual, Im ganna swap out the sun roof, and whole rear assem to try to solve the shifting I get in mine, I was wondering if there was any tricks to look out for when doing this, and also what is it going be like putting a auto rear in a manual car, whats the ratio diffrence, is there anything I put in there to make it better while its apart, I will also be installing my new clutch, I also have a ticking sound in my cars motor I was told this is the vanos, would putting the vanos from the auto on the manual solve this, seeing as maybe the motor never saw as high of rpms ? any other good things to swap please let me know or ideas... I have new shocks and spings waiting also... BTW my car has 162,000, parts car unknown, anyone need anything off it let me know...
