View Full Version : ** San Diego dinner meet and PCH cruise -- Friday, December 6th -- 6:30pm **

Hey everyone!

It’s about time we got together and had some fun!! :)

Here is what we are going to do….

Meet – Jack in the Box/Taco Bell on corner of Palomar Airport Road and Business Park Drive near Carlsbad Raceway.

When – 6:30pm if you want to grab a bite to eat with us.

What will we do after that? – Once everyone has arrived, we will hang out and chat about our cars for a little while, and then we will depart for a cruise down Highway 101 (aka PCH)

We plan on leaving Jack in the Box at 7:30pm sharp! So please don’t be late!!!

As usual, make sure that you get gas and all that jazz before coming to the meet.

People always ask if we are going to race, haul ass, speed…etc etc … and the answer is NO. We do not promote that kind of thing at our meets.
This is a chance to meet the people on the forums and see their cars in person. Lets keep it fun and safe guys :)

Here are the directions if you need them:

Take I-5 to PALOMAR AIRPORT RD, Exit and go EAST on Palomar Airport Rd. Take a LEFT on BUSINESS PARK DRIVE, then go LEFT into the shopping center and look for all of us.

Wow... not even a day yet and there are a few replies on DTM, and here as well!

This should be loads of fun!

Sounds good Dave but wont make dinner. Should make it by 7:30 though with race gas:-) Look forward to seeing your new ride.

Maybe I can make it.......
Car going in for new vanos...2ndary timing tensioner.......new pulleys......and tires.....this monday. Currently running badly

XOC, I may cruise tomorrow. I live like one stop light from that intersection. Not sure when I will be back in the area though.

Cool - I will be there if I am over this cold I caught earlier this week (and I am feeling a little better today), AND if it doesn't rain!

I'd say it's like 80% I will be there.

I'm there, btu not for dinner, but for the cruise. Any ide a which way on PCH we're headed - the g/f and I are headed to dinner and I'm thinking if we're headed south, we'll do Cheescake Factory, if north then someplace else. But where ever - it's all good.

Of course she will start. I hve to pull her ot of the garage twice a week to make room for your car on the lift. Which reminds me, moving the car is really starting to pile the mileage up on her. I'm going to have to start collecting gas money :)

hell, without me using the lift, she'd never get driven - you prefer driving the minivan and terrorizing the streets with it..

let me tell you folks - there is nothing, and i mean nothing, to compare to the feeling of seeing jim trying to bulldog you in a minivan. I'm trying to somewhat observe speed laws the other night and jim's weaving left, and ducking inside in his Caravan....He's a troublemaker, I tell you :)

Btw where exactly is this place? Is it on this map? If so, can someone edit the pic and put an arrow or dot where business park road or the actual aprking lot is exactly?
