can i get my cars ecu remapped?

I have got a 94,325i and its got a obd1 port and im not sure if i can get the ecu remapped,i have looked on the net and can only find info for remapping on car made after 96 with obd2 ports.Is it possible or is my car to old for that kind of thing?.

Your ECU would be the 'chip' version, not 'remappable'. The chip in the ECU gets replaced with a high performance version from Turner, Dinan, etc.
