I'm selling a 1992 BMW 535i out of Danbury, CT.

This car has 264k miles on it, and is 5spd. It has a decent amount of new parts (see further in post)

The moonroof and most of the electricals work except for the fan speed control on the climate control (works full blast only) and A/C doesn't work (haven't looked into it at all). The car's SRS airbag light is on

One of the power window motors has been replaced in the past year

The car has knockoff "AC Schnitzer" sport seats installed by the previous owner. They are black cloth.

The car runs OK. It seems to be on it's original engine and while it doesn't put out smoke of any sort, it does seep a little bit of fluid out. The leaks is pretty small but your garage floor won't stay clean. The car does leak a little gas from the tank and the car would benefit from a new gas tank. The car doesn't overheat even on hot days.

The car has a new uucmotorwerks.com short shifter ($325 part) which has a good precise feel, as well as a newer 2003 BMW 5 series shift knob. The rubber boot which separates the undercarriage of the car from the shifter area is torn and as a result lets heat into the car after driving for a while. The car's clutch pedal is a little less then completely "springy"

The steering on the car is actually very good overall since I have replaced all the front end parts:
tie rods, control arms, centrer link, idler arm. Despite this there is the commonly known "shimmy" around 60-65mph. Around town it's a very confident car.

As far as the exterior goes, see the pictures as they tell all. It's a high mileage car so it's not perfect.

Other recent parts installed (in past 4000 miles) include:
new battery
new radiator
front & rear brake pads
rear rotors (brembo)
new shocks
new clutch slave cylinder

The only part of the interior that's a little rough is the rear drivers side door panel missing the top piece (most of it is there)

The car should be able to drive anywhere.

I'm asking $1700 firm for the car.

Please e-mail me at tradr@nyctaxi.org or give me a call at (203) 470-2203 if you'd like more information or would like to see the car or if you'd like to see pictures. Because I'm a newbie on this forum it's not allowing me to post images on here. I can e-mail web links of the pictures.
