I'm going to the junkyard tomarrow, if anybody needs anything, email me at freethuggin4428@gmail.com with what you need, and what you are willing to pay. AFAIK, they have E23's, E12's, E28's, E21's, E30's, and a couple E24's. Just don't wanna get stuck with parts I might end up paying more than your willing to pay. Thanks.

Hmmmm, where is this junkyard located? I am in the market for a 5 speed swap. I have seen all parts necessary sell for 400 on the bay. I also need a good junkyard to source some parts for my newly aquired 71 cutlass...

IF I can somehow get all the parts from a junkyard to do a 5 speed swap for $400, do you want it? Not sure if I can get all thsoe parts that cheap, could you provide a part list? I'd hate to leave somthing there you'd need. Thanks.

Sure I would be interested. I have a pedal box, but need a flywheel, clutch, slave (with line, have the master), trans prefer the 265 but can go 260, shifter mechanism, and driveshaft. I would also need as many of the nuts and bolts as possible. Where is this yard located? Close to talking rock?

Shipping no idea, prolly alot, due to size and weight. Do they have sport seats and comfort seats, like a 5 series?

What seats do you want? I have a complete tan interior, the seats are the comfort ones. Everything is in good shape, and I'm close enough we could meet and make a swap.

They are manual confort seats. If you look at my link and can tell from the headrest/ tan area on the door panel, that is the color of my seat. If not I will take a better picture when I get home tomorrow. I guess than'twon't work if you are going tomorrow, but keep and eye out and tell me what you see if a return trip is possible. Thanks, Nick
Also, what is the offical BMW name for the color of my carpet, when I called to order matts, they told me they were two or three different browns to choose from and now I have no idea. Thanks, Nick

That color is Pealr Beige. AFAIK, any 5 or 6 pearl beige comfort seat should bolt right in.

So, yeah, we found basically nothing. Most every car where we went had been pillaged already. All we got were Ford Injectors. I'll get them cleaned up, and take a few pics and post prices soon hopefully. Thanks everybody.

Err...what Ford injectors have value in the BMW market? Seeing as our place is littered with Fords of various types and all, that statement of yours has piqued my curiosity.

Ford 19 lbs 5.0L and 4.6L injectors are Bosch-made, and are a 100% compatible swap, as long with Mustang 21, 24, and other higher lbs./hr. rate injectors possibly in other fords I don't know about.
Edit: This is in reguards to the high-impedence injectors. I believe the S38 runs low-impredence injectors, so these ones I have are not compatible, but there are other Ford injectors out there that are low-impedence that may work just fine.
