I have about 900 miles on the Mini. I'm going to be doing my own oil change - at 1200 miles.

I don't have the manual yet (i'm too lazy to get it from the dealer) so I'm curious what the maintainence schedule is on these.

Can someone point me in the right direction, please?

The dealer will only do the "scheduled" maintenance, which is oil changes every 10,000 miles. So, you'll have to foot the bill for this first oil change. Mine is at nearly 2000 miles and I still haven't gotten around to getting the oil changed.... I'm such a bastard. :(

I've got the whole maintenance thing down in my car, so if you'd like more detail or whatever I can go get it. I know that they recommend 5w30 (for the Cooper anyway... I don't see why it would be any different on the S :dunno)
