Hey guys and gals- heres what's up in my world. I found this e34 525i. It was hit in the rear and the guy wants rid of it quickly. If there is any interest in the parts I will go get it, trailer it here and begin parts removal. post up needs and offers.

What color is it, exactly? It's tempting to find a way to come out there for a wide grill conversion for my Touring. Is it "Islandgrun-metallic" - 273? If it happened to be the same color that would make me SERIOUSLY consider it.

How bad is the rear-end damage? I could use the right-side inner taillight assembly (the one with the reverse lights).

Also the right rear passenger inner door sill(?) trim piece (black w/associated clips), just before the "BMW" sill plates, if viewing from inside the car. Thanks.. Email/PM if they're available..

I think it is tan- I've yet to get the car here. I am simply generating interest so I can prove to the guy that there is a demand for these cars parts- if it looks like most of it will go, I'll go grab the car. I'll ask him the exact colors tonight.

Yeah, don't buy the car for my sake alone, I actually have a parts car of my own that I'm getting ready to part out, and I don't need a wide grill conversion. But if it's the same color and you do pick up the car, keep me in mind.

I need the center-console window buttons. Could you give me pictures of them so i can see the condition they're in. Also if you have any cd-changer sleeves i need them. looks like a 95. The color is either island grun or oxford, most likely w/ a tan interior. How much for the sideskirts??

Alright guys- I couldn't get in touch with Max last night- I will try again tonight. What I'd like to discuss with him is me picking up the car and him holding the title. I will part the car out and pay him his asking price, and at that time I will get the title and probably just have it hauled to a recycling yard. If for whatever reason he is not comfortable with that arrangement I will turn you guys loose with his telephone number and you guys may be able to work something out. Update: He called me just now and heres the deal. I forgot to ask colors. The hood, trunk lid, headlights. grilles, wheels are gone as of the weekend by his parting out to locals. He says the motor/trans are good but when he redid the clutch (it's a manual!) he did not resurface the flywheel. All doors glass and interior are intact as far as I know. We did not reach a price because I told him I don't have much to give. It's looking like he may let me come get it after the weekend after some more parts vultures visit though, I'll update as things progress.
