I also popped on a 99 3-spoke M wheel after searching for what seemed like years... no pics of that though!
Looks good. Where'd you get the pedal set from?
BTW, why is the background of your posts always black? (or is it just my machine)

They're OEM BMW e46 aluminum pedals... straight from the dealer. great buy!
I think it's just your PC, it's normal on my screen.... :dunno
Thats weird, there's a guy on DTM that does the same type of thing to my browser when he posts.
How much did the set cost (incl dead ped)?
Looking good! I especially like the new exhaust!!

That exhaust is sweet! How are you liking the sound?

Keda, the pedal set was $62, and the dead pedal was $55. Both from circlebmw.com whose prices are a good bit lower than other dealers.
Thanks fellas, I love the exhaust. The sound is great, it's pretty subtle while driving normally, just a deeper tone.... but when you're getting on it, this thing roars.... Tunnels, forget about it...i've never heard anything sound so nice coming out of a car... :D

Looks awesome, nice work, man!! :buttrock
Where'd you get the ///M badge for the front grill?
Adds a nice little touch to the spartan front of the 3 series. :)

I got it from www.bmpd.com You'll have to call though, it doesn't show up on their website...or at least it didn't in the past...

Oh, man... I LOVE your car!! It's almost identical to mine, so I'm a little biased.
Anyways, I was just wondering if you put the AA Exhaust on yourself? If so, how long did it take you and how hard of a job was it?
Also, does the new 3-spoke wheel you got have airbags? Was that a difficult install? How much did it cost you?

Thanks Ron and Jesper.
Ron, I got a great package deal that included install through an AA dealer near me, so I went with that. I would have gone at it myself, but my space to work on my car is less than ideal, so i opted for immediate gratification and an easier solution.
I would guess doing it yourself, with a second set of hands to help, you'd be looking at about an hour or so, give or take, depending on your mechanical abilities and your facilities.... It's not hard!
The 3-spoke wheel I have is from a 99 M3, so yes, it has an airbag (that's the costly part). They tend to run about $500 used. The install wasn't simple, but it was doable. It required some wire splicing for the horn, but otherwise was relatively straight forward.
