How many miles can one expect a Mini S to go? I am just about to pull the trigger on buying a 2003 Mini S with 56,000 miles on it. It is out of warranty, should I be worried? I am so amazed at how the value of these cars are kept. What should be my major concern? Please help me!

well, he'll be here in the next few days to get another cooper for his daughter. I'll get a list of the mods he has.

U serious? How would it not be streetable? its 260hp? stock e46 m3 is 333hp...
Anyway, mini-madness has a 260hp kit...or somewhere around that...head, cam, intake, pulley, software, exhaust, intercooler....and then the mini's with the m7 venom kit push well over 300
and then of course the twincharged and the few that have gone to turbo only are well into 500hp....
still streetable...i don't see why/how it would not be
oh and to the OP...the supercharger is rated at 100k miles...bearings go out around then... $90 for rebuild kit, ~$300 for used s/c off ebay...
