Hi, I recently purchased a mint condition stock '95 M3 with 35,000 miles. I have a couple questions for more experienced M3 owners. I need some advice on whether or not to purchase an extended aftermarket warranty. I'm looking at 3yrs/36k mile coverage. I will probably sell the car toward the end of this period (I plan on keeping the car until it reaches the 60-70k mile range). The warranty covers most everything (except of course wear items) has a $200. ded and costs about $1,500. Do you think it's worth it? Also does anyone have any advice on what brand of metal waterpump I should buy? (the dealer has gone back to "a new improved" plastic pump). Is one brand better than another? It has been suggested that I replace the thermostat at the same time. When I checked into this I was asked if I want the cooler 80 degree thermostat or the stock 86 degree thermostat. What do you think? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks.:95

What do you plan to do with the car? The 95 M3 is an execellent car to modify (better and slightly cheaper than the 96-99 M3s) if you plan to go down that road. If you don't really plan to do anything to the car then just keep it stock and dealer maintained with the warranty

BTW, if this car is in as good a condition as you say it is, it can go A LOT longer than 70k miles and still run VERY strong (my 95 M3 has 84K+ miles and is running very strong)
