in my 540it All windows are shut and roof is closed but my back seats floors are wet.. help me solve this mystery..

clogged drains probably. Is the headliner wet? Rear parcel shelf?

headliner is dry,, and so is the reear shelf,, only the floor in the back is wet

Did you check if some kind of liquid spilled?

no it's rain water just can't tell how it's getting in

my friend had a similar thing happen, the seals around the rear doors turned out to be thr problem.

you vapor barrier is bad. That happened to a friend's 530i and then it happened to my 540.

Check the drains from the sunroof. You may need to ream them with some weed whacker nylon. Happened to me.

are there any rubber seals on the floor? If so those get brittle and when you drive over puddles, it leaks in.

In a 540 with passengers in the back, vigorous driving is known to cause wetness.
