Picked up an e34 530i

I got a nice Gray 530i 5-speed with about 155k on the clock.

It has a few minor issues such as one foglight (passenge side) is gone.
The rear bumper is falling off.
The steering wheel needs to be replaced.
Leather on driver seat is badly worn.

I know these are mostly age related issues. Anyone have any clue how I can secure the replacement parts for the car? I think I want to go the OEM+ route with this car, much like my R32.

Look around at Bavauto.com, they have some good stuff. You can replace the fogs with crystal ones that look good.

Check the status of the bushings in that car; if you replace worn ones it's like having a new car!

I'm curious with what you can use for a steering wheel. The 1995 M-sports used the one from the earlier E36 M3s, which is a nice wheel, and I love the E39 3-spoke sport wheel. Maybe someone can chime in here...the ugly 1994 steering wheel is enough to keep me from buying one!

As far as leather goes, some have had great results with Leatherique repair kits. I'm not sure how good the longetivity is with that stuff, though.

I see you're in Atlanta...I'm about to pick up an E34 similar to yours. Was it a local car? Do you mind telling me how much you paid?

Do yourself a favor and set up a Photobucket account. I have Facebook (Indiana University) but not many other people are in college. Set up Photobucket, upload your images, then paste the link to your album but break up the link.

Gotcah gotcha, I was class of 2005 also. I live over in mid-town. About a block south of the High. Are there any BMW groups that run around ATL? There is a huge VW scene here. We meet about every single Thursday to go out and shit like that.
