Just Bought This off Ebay, what do you think?

now i just need to tell him my ECU 413/506, i have found this thing in the user manual and it says "Retail/In-service Date- 5/31/1994" SO would my car be a 413 what do you guys think????

I bought my chip from the same person, I dont think its a real dinan chip but its probley flashed from one. Eather way to find out for sure which one you need you should pull your ecu out and read the # off that, it takes about 10-15 minutes if that.

As a former eBay chip seller, I would be very careful about putting that in my car. I sold a lot of Honda chips.

It may be a copy of the Dinan chip, or it may not. I highly doubt the seller bought two different Dianan chips, copied them and then is reselling. He just got some files and is burning them. Be careful. It could have any number of hidden "features", such as open-loop (not reading o2 sensor), no rev limit, bad fuel/timing, etc.

I bought a "dinan" chip off ebay just like that and it worked fine on my previous 325is. I didn't have any problems with it, power gains seemed normal, rev limit was raised to 7000k...

Dinan, Said they would not put that in the car, they said there is over 45 different chips for a 1995 m3,and they said my car might be a EWS or something then i would have to go to bmw and get it aligned with the chip, you guys now what a EWS is??
