I am about to take delivery of a CPO '05 545i this Friday. I am flying into CA to pick this baby up and driving it back to TX. This baby's got more gagets than I originally wanted. It comes with: Met Black on Black, Steptronic, Navigation, Prem Sound, Sport Pkg, Cold Weather, Park Dist, HUD, Rear Sunshade, Sat Radio (not prep), Folded Rears, and Anthracite.

My wife and I are going to take the scenic route back and enjoy the car. Can't wait till Friday!!!

Congrats, wish I could afford a new 5 series. I'm still driving my 90 525I which I've had forever and still runs like a charm..285K on odometer.

You can have piece of mind it will last forever when properly maintained!

Post pics when u take delivery..

I think cool would be a e60 530ix Touring Wagon! :stickoutt

But the sedans are not too bad looking either! ;)

Enjoy your drive! :cool

Are there any recommended twisty routes I should be on a look out for?

The good thing about CPO is "No break in period." I could let it rip out the lot!

Highway 1... down the coast towards LA (but I guess that kinda depends on where in CA you're picking it up) .... so OR.... up the coast towards SF
