By the way guys, I didn't see a thread here, but I thought I would pass along the word that the AA supercharger made it's debut a few days go. Numbers are 320ish HP and 350ish torque (at 2000rpm) :eek2:.

Yes, the 325i kit is coming out in January, but not for the 92 non-Vanos cars (like I have). But the website DOES say that they're working on it. :)

These numbers are from a E46 330 @ 7 (or 8) psi with an automatic tranny.

Whoa! That's a great price! Very interesting... do you know if it's very difficult to install?

D'oh! Wish they made one for an OBDII 328! But wait a minute, if I'm gonna be spending $5K, I might as well go for an engine swap. Hmmmm!!!! :D
Anyway, it's great to see more options come out for our cars!

Damn.... now I'm really having second thoughts about my little purchase. :az:
I just noticed that the 96-99 M3 dyno is wrong. It is actually of the 325. I'd like to see the M3 dyno.
This is a blow up of the dyno on the 96-99 OBD-II M3 page:
http://www.aatuning.com/Supercharged/SC-grfx/325sc%20vs%20stk%20325%20(e36%20preliminary%20test ing).jpg
(edit... you will have to copy and paste the link, the forum software doesn't seem to like the link... it keeps adding a carriage return between "test" and "ING")
So it looks like AA got sick of seeing tons of people go out and buy SCs because they are much more affordable than turbos so they decided to make a SC kit.
I'm sure they did a great job on it, but I'll let someone else review it and have the glory of saying they are the first to get one :)

Zoso, good eye.. I couldn't make out the graph.. but I did notice the numbers being low for an SC'ed M3 running at 9psi. With the intercooler and oil cooler, it should quite reliable and move some butt.

Ohh man, I'm drooling already!:D
I wonder if its safe to supercharge a car with 100k+ miles?;)

Dudes...the dyno they attached may be the wrong one, but the HP claims they're making on the M3 SC page are obviously correct....for now... 285 at the wheels on a mustang dyno isn't bad, considering stock our cars make anywhere from 200 to 210 range, give or take. And this is on a mustang dyno, on a dyno jet, i understand that would be around 300. I think they're being conservative with their numbers right now, b/c the system is still being tweeked as we speak. I would expect to see higher numbers well before the system actualy comes out. Also, the torque curve on that thing is amazing...much better than a CF blower....

How hard will this system be to install? Any estimates on time for us average wrenchers? It is just a straight bolt-on and go, right?
