The not so good
Sunroof is off track, this is my second cassette I’ve put in the car, and I have just learned to live without the sunroof. AC is intermittent, most likely needs a freon recharge.
The car is pretty straight, but has a few small dings here and there… but much better than the majority of cars of this year.
Looking to get 6k for the car, it’s located in San Diego

bump for a sweet car. Want to drive to florida?

Theres a small one ontop of each fender from people testing how stiff the suspension is. And there is a door ding on the drivers side that is small as well, and there is a small one above the passenger quarterpanel from someone hitting a door against it as well. I'm going to see if I can't have the dent guys at work try and pop em out. All but the one on the pass quarter panel aren't visable unless you are really looking for them.
Both times I bought a used cassette, and they can be had for aobut 100-200 bucks. It's just a big pita to drop the headliner and swap everything out... so I just leave it closed and don't hassle with it anymore.
Freon recharge runs 1 or 1.5 hours at the dealer iirc.

Interior specifically, back seat, passenger seat, gauge cluster, center console. Also, how many miles were on it when your purchased it?
I'll snap some pics today, I purchaced it with 171,309 on it in May of 2004.

Now you're talking!
Actually, we just sit around and count all the money we save with our dirt cheap cost of living.:devillook I seriously don't know how you So Cal guys do it. A buddy of mine just moved to Orange Co (Rancho San Margarita), he paid $440k for a 1200 sq ft townhome! Do you know what $440k will buy you in Kansas? The worst part, he's only making $5k more/year than he was offered in Wichita. The ocean and weather is awesome, but the cost involved with it is too.

I was born into it. The cost is so high because of the demand, illegal immigrants aren't helping either.

bump for assface. you swapping the ltw's onto the m3?

One thing I forgot to ask, has the engine been rebuilt at all? Seems like a lot of miles to not have a rebuild, so I'm assuming it has.
Everytime this gets bumped I get it sent to me. Everytime it happens I like to look at the pics :) I love your car, but the mileage scares me.

Motor hasn't been touched as far as I know, but still runs strong. Number one thing people say to me about the car, this thing runs this solid with this many miles, holy shit. Once you drive it, the miles will scare you much less :)

Why would I swap ltws for ltws? The new ride came with them from the factory, I'm going to keep the better of the sets, and sell the other.

My last e30 had 287K with no rebuilt. It started on a dime and ran strong with a chip and a 4.1LSD. With that many miles it burnt about a quart of oil for every 500 miles, but it always started on a dime and ran like a champ. B/c of that car i am never afraid of BMWs with lots of miles, they just need to be babied.

Well that's cool that the motors in bimmers last forever, im just weary growin up around an old fart who calls em Bring Many Wrenches. Plus all my dad's cars were pieces o shit over 100k and he'd always say after 130 cars after 100k go downhill, but he would never buy anything newer.
God my dad's a hipocrit loser,lol.

He must have been a ford of chevy guy ;)
The m3 that will be replacing this will have 130k on it... and my previous e36 to this one that I sold to my friend is at 260!!!

Currently he sports:
1. almost totaled 4v4 checvy c10
1. bent framed c10 short bed 2x4
2. chevy vans with conversions (dont think thes are cool, they are old)
1. dodge work truck (the only good vehicle and its made for electricions)
and 5 is the fewest number of shitpiles that have been found near my house since I can remember. used to have a 80's thunderturd (my first drive, I kept it goin till 150k by shear luck) and 2 70's dodge magnums. Of course the obligatory bronco (bitchin but got stolen). Theres more but who cares, lol.
Ok I'm gonna stop bumpin your post because I don't want you to sell it till I get a chance to see it and make an offer.
Oh yea, would you be willing to trade? VVV

Sent another PM and an email ;) Is the car in your first post different than the one in a few posts down? I see regular black seats insted of the vaders, since I am seriously considering the purchase can you email me recent or new pictures to my email or PM me whenever ya get a chance. Im a little confused as to what all comes with the car because ive been reading through this thread and the last one you had up and the two together have alot of differences so whenever you could get back to me Id really appreciate it so I can make my final decsion and try to work everything out with you.
Thanks,
-Sieg

the one with less replies is the more current one, the pics I have thrown up are all the same car, some are just more recent than others. The one with the black wheels is before I got my vaders put in.
