1992 BMW 325i
Red exterior on black leather interior '92 325i (e36 style) sedan w/ 196k miles on it. It is manual and has many recent parts replaced including clutch, shocks, coil packs, headlights, foglights, belts, water pump, R134 conversion, etc. just to name a few. This car drives like its new and everything works on it. I've had many compliments on the condition of this car. Please email me for additional pics.
SOLD
Thanks for looking.

Very interested, however I must see how the rest of my summer turns out financially before I can think about purchasing your car, exactly what I'm looking for though. Very clean for a high mileage car, but do I notice some rust or chipping on the front left wheel well on the side skirt? Anyhow, good luck with the sale!

Yes, the car has some rust on the bottom rocker panels and doors. Not bad. It started rusting about 5 years ago and it hasn't progressed too badly for 5 years. BMW uses better steel compared to other cars like Japanese cars.
Thanks for looking and good luck financially.

Yeah, I am having a big rust problem on my '95 Jeep Wrangler... I can't imagine your car being up for sale very long. I would have thought the mileage would have steered me away, but it looks like you have meticulously mantained the car, or else you know how to clean your car, which ever. I live in Kansas and Chicago isn't too far away for me to drive for a BMW. If I could get a loan, I'd be all over it :) However we are trying to refinance the house, and we need to pay off some bills at the moment. If your car sits for a couple of months (highly doubtful, as I said. E36s are the thang nowadays), I may be knocking down your door here shortly...

Yeah, I do take care of my cars. People are always complimenting me on how well this 14+ year old car still has a factory shine.
Good luck with you finances and your e36 search.

Hello again, hope you don't mind answering a few questions, if not, you get a free bump. First, has the car been in any wrecks? I've been looking at your post history, and you talk a lot about E36 sedan parts, was there a major repair done? Also, do you have mantienance records of the vehicle and its history? Are you the original owner, and if not, when did you buy the vehicle and its mileage at that time? I'd hate to pester you, but a one-way ticket out to Chicago is $70, and im not planning on taking a plane home the 650 mile journey, if you think your Bimmer can make it that far... Thanks

Holy cow...I know my car is real nice but did I under sell myself? I've got tons of emails like yours from out of towners willing to travel great distances to see/buy this car. Anyway...
The car is in great shape with no accident history. All of the vins are on the car's various panels. I have done a lot of maintenance on the car so its in great shape. I have loads of records on the car. I'm the second owner. I bought the car at 150k and basically brought the car back to "near perfect" shape. Now in retrospect, I think I should not have spent so much fixing it up because now I'm selling it.
Somebody came and left me a deposit on the car and will return as soon as his loan is approved to pay for the rest. If he backs out for whatever reason, I'll be back on this list. Until then, I wouldn't buy a ticket yet.
Thanks for your interest.

A $3,500 lien? Isn't that kinda dumb?

That's cool, great luck with the buyer. Kelly Blue Book and NADA values suggest between $2,500 and $4,500, so $3,500 is probably what the car is worth. Let me know how this deal turns out, thanks.
