ebay strut tower brace?

Has anyone had an experience with the cheapo Aluminum alloy strut-tower braces off of ebay? they're like 15 dollars. lol. I could see taking a hard turn, and hearing a snap from the engine compartment...

I have both the front and the rear and I must say, it was definetely worth the $55 shipped for both. Its not a huge improvement, but its definetely there. And for the rear, they act as shock tower reinforcements so you cant go wrong with that. And they wont snap in your engine compartment, if they were terrible quality they would just bend:) . Plus they look nice too.

it can't hurt anything. if it's crap, then it'll just bend, but even if it's crap, it's more reinforcement than no reinforcement

the ones that look like a skinny 1.5" metal stick... they're crap.. more for looks then for performance... they'll just bend. when body is flexed.. they'll flex. i have both front and rear strut bars from ebay.. front one is very stiff and solid.. thick too.. baught for about ~$70... my rear (~$20)on is soo wack.. i can bend it with my own hands.. i know it isn't working for me at all... although i still put it on.. lol using the end mounts for support on the rear towers.

lol, so do I, but I put it on with the subframe brace so I could pretend that it helped.
