Anyone know if 305 Hoosiers will fit on a 9.5" rim? I hear that the Camaro guys fit these on their stock SS rims (9.5" also), but I'm not too sure. Any help would be appreciated. :)

Stock Camaro SS rims are 17x9, the largest I would go on a 9" rim is 285...

315's will fit on a 10.5" rim, but fit better on an 11" rim, to give you a point of reference...

I don't think its necessary or possible... getting more width up front is usually more helpful. you don't want too much understeer.

Ok... I just picked up mmy Hoosiers... I think they'll fit, but it may require some astroglide and a little bit of smooth jazz...

Tirerack's Specs section for the Hoosiers lists 11-12" as the correct sizes for 305/30x18s. But there are guys shoehorning 225s on 4.5" rims too...

I guess the answer is, if you win, it's right. Plan on plenty of swearing from your tire guy. :)

Good luck, I got 275's on 8.5" rims, when they said I needed 9" rims...
