i have a customer with one of these, and im having a hard time finding a suspension for him.

his stock stuff is worn out, and its like a electornic dampering deal, and its 5 grand to get new.

obviously he doesnt wanna spend it but i was trying to see if this could be deleted like the rear self leveling in other 5ers.

let me know what i can do guys, i wanna just throw a set of bistien sports and HR springs cause hes a cheapy. i guess coil over would be nice but let me know.

if i can run stock springs too, with standard shocks that would be good as well.. but i dont know if those stock springs will work.

i'm fairly sure that you can eliminate the self-leveling on these cars as well.

I have a 95 M-sport , Same suspension..

To eliminate the EDC III suspension you will have to get front Strut housing and top mounts. The EDC suspension is a complete strut. You cannot just throw in a strut insert.

With all the research I did, you cannot get away with under $1000 in parts. Maybe if you get a lot of used parts. But that is a lot of research and wait time to get all the parts on your part.

$250 per strut housing.
$100 per front top mount.
$50 per rear top mounts.

Plus your choice of Strut and springs.
Chances are that the boot and bumpstop are all bad due to leaking hydraulics oil.

Also you have to find a plug to plug the SLS actuator. disconnect the SLS valve from the sway bar.

Good luck with it.
