View Full Version : Will a bad engine mount cause vibration only at a high speed?

I still have vibration around 80 mph. Will a bad motor mount cause that? Shouldn't it vibrate at all speeds whenever the rpm goes up above a certain level?

This sounds more like an wheel balance issue to me.

Yeah engine mounts will only make a vibration at idle usually

The engine mounts on the family van have been SHOT for a long time and it's only noticeable when the tranny shifts gears.

No way, it should be a wheel/hub/suspension/alignment/etc problem.
