HAVE $10K CASH...want 540/6, M3/5, or...?

I have approximately $10,000 available that I am willing to shell out on the right car. The car does not have to be pristine, but it must be a DEAL. I just missed out on two seperate 540i's at LOW prices and I am not happy about it. I am in the Northeast, but fairly willing to travel for the right car. I want something fast, reasonable mileage, manual transmission, and reliable. Clean title only. Mods are fine as long as they are quality. Again, I am only looking for a great deal...I have access to auctions so I never overpay for cars, but I know what I am looking for is floating around here. Let me know what you have. the wholesale world isnt as cheap as everyone likes to think. Sometimes great deals, sometimes not...just like the retail market. I have cash and a dealer plate in hand. Tell me what you've got.

Are you going to get a loan too? $10k isn't that much for a clean car. Maybe a high mileage 95 M3.

If you want something reliable, i seriously dont think you should go with the 540. Not saying its a great car to have but i spend around 2-3k a year just keeping it on the road. No im not saying im worried about it breaking down or whatever but its just a lot of money to maintain. Might want to look into some websites out there or some threads on here..
