Hello guys,
I'm doing the swap on the suspension and been calling Pep Boys/Autozone/Strauss but no luck on renting the tool. Wondering if any locals can help me out.
Thank you,

This is my first experience w/ frt. susp. wk. I rather do it the safest way possible.
It wasn't simple as i originally thought. I've been in the garage almost two hours just trying to take the control arm off(doing the CAB also). The inner ball joint bolt is defiinitely hard to get to, especially on the passenger side. In addition, the tie rods and outer ball joint will need to be remove w/ a puller. I can't see how they'll come off w/o the tool.
Turningermanese...Do you happen to have a puller also?

I found using a pickle fork was easier than using a tie-rod puller, and it also came in handy later in the weekend.
Where I live Autozone will lend you spring compressors and a pickle fork for free.

I guess NJ is a heaven for lawsuits. You would not believe the lawyer section in the yellow pages.

Wouldn't the fickle fork damage the bushings? I'll have to reuse the control arm so the bushings must not be damage.
Does anyone know what's the equilvalent size in mm for the metric M14(CA inner bolt)?
Thank you,
