When I start the car cold, and run it for several hours everything is fine. If I shut it off and restart it second or third time during the day while the engine is hot the ASC light comes on and I have to step on the gas pedal 4 or 5 times before the gas kicks in and the car goes. Other symptoms of the problem are rougher idol and periodic stalling. This only happens if the car is started hot otherwise it's good to go.
I just had the O2 sensors replaced so it shouldn't be those. Had the problem even before they were replaced.
Does anyone have an educated guess as to what's going on?
