im about to buy the phillips 5000k hid kit. and also the zkw euro ellipsoids.
im trying to buy the best out thier. i want a nice bright white light....and i heard that the 5k by phillips does that. can anyone confirm, or can anyone compare to oem xenons by bmw.

philips doesn't make a 5000K as far as I know.
4100K and 5800K are the only temperatures. I *could* be wrong.

I have phillips 5000k.....they are the 4100k ones that are dipped in some substance that makes them a bit more blue....
I also have zwk euros...and the lights are great....a whitish-slightly blue light that is all powerful....
they do drown out the halogen fogs though.....

would you recomend the 5000's or the 6000's...because lavalamps has both, and i need to decide.

right. so you basically confirmed what I thought.
I'm working on getting the 4100K ones for WAY cheap right now, but I don't know if you guys are willing to pay WAY less and fiddle with the connectors and bases yourselves.

hey umnitza... given the perfect set of instructions.. i would be willing to try anything. True bimmerheads never say never... :D
