Hey what's up? I am desprate. At first I wanted an E30 M3. Now I need one. It's all I can think about. Being a highschool student makes it hard to just go out and pay cash for one. I have a job and all but I don't make that much. I decided to put together a list of reasons why my parents should help me pay for one. Please add any reasons you can think of.

25 Reasons Why You Should Help Me Pay For My BMW

1. BMWs are one of the SAFEST cars on the road. (You value my life right?)
2. I need a safe, reliable car to safely get to and from college. (You wouldn’t want me to miss school because of a breakdown. Would you?)
3. My friend rolled his BMW and was still able to drive is while in the process of repairing it. (If that’s not safe and reliable, I don’t know what is.)
4. It will keep me busy. Thus taking my mind off things you don’t want me to have like girls, candy, and soda. (Not really, but it’s nice to dream.)
5. I graduated early. (Doesn’t that deserve a BMW?)
6. On top of graduating early, I received nothing lower than a “B”.
7. Your youngest son will most likely ride in this car at some time. Saving you the time needed to pick him up. (Don’t you want your son to be safe?)
8. You can combine my birthday, and Christmas presents for the rest of my life to pay for it. (Not that that’s how much it will cost.)
9. It is an older car. (Less expensive.)
10. I really, really, really want it.
11. I have not once been in an accident, nor received a ticket.
12. I’ve been a good kid for most of my life.
13. I’m your least expensive kid.
14. I’ve saved every penny to pay for it, since I decided this is what I want. With the exception of insurance. (Is that dedication or what?)
15. I’ve never gotten in a real fight no matter how bad I wanted, because you told me to just walk away.
16. I’ve never cost you medical bills that weren’t unnecessary. (Some kids could by 2 or 3 cars with the medical bills their parents pay for braces, broken bones, stitches, etc.)
17. Some day you want grandchildren. (How can I meet girls in an old Toyota truck?)
18. I showed that I can take care of a car. (Your car and the Toyota.)
19. You don’t want me to have to worry about payments at a young age. (Do you?)
20. I really, really, really want it.
21.

If your preants aren't willing to help you buy a car, find a higher paying job, or work more hours at your current one and ask for their help in taking out a loan from peoplefirst.com or something like that.

Basically what I did.

Thanks for the advice. I talked with my dad and he told me he would give me about 2grand but I have to pay cash for what ever I get. I'm going to work my ass off to get as much money as I can before I buy one. If any one knows of a good deal on a E30 M3 in the 92028 zip code please tell me. It can be farther but the car has to be perfect for dirt cheap. thanx

E30 M3's are not the most reliable BMW's. They certainly are some of the most expensive (used). I would shoot for an E30 325i. You should be able to get one for about 5 or 6 grand. If you can't even afford to by an M3 how are you going to maintain it. Just my 2 cents.

I have heard that the E30s are EXPENSIVE to maintain. Check in on that forum to see what those guys have to say.

Thanx for the good advice.I probably won't get it till after Christmas. I've been reading the m3 e30 forum and posting questions. I want to pay cash for what ever I get so I have a couple months to research before I spend any money.
