Is It An I Head Or Eta M20 Head???
<HR style="COLOR: #666666" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I NEED help finding what kind on of head i have, weather its an I or ETA head. :mad the serial numbers were scrached off so i cant tell what i got.
it doesnt even have the 2.5 stamping my old cracked 87 I head has.:lol
the only numbers on it are C-1228 and 2-114-910 but, they dont seen to mean anything. my old head has the number 1-705-885, hence the #885 for the I head. 200 for the ETA an d 731 for 323.
PLEASE HELP i need to know for sure its an I head b-4 i put it back together.

just post a picture of the intake ports, and the combustion chambers and I will tell you...

this is from an email he sent me days ago where I asked him for a pic. I'm thinking eta


on the other one it has real smal numbers on the intake side but towards the bottom of the side. and they are 2114 910, so its not an i head????
but it the both have same size and shape intake channels, they are not completly round, more of a pumking shape.

"I" head has clover shaped intake ports. "e" head has round shaped intake ports. The i head also oils on 7 cam journals while an e oils only on 5 cam journals. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

the head is not the original from my car, its a rebuilt head i bought from a salvege yard the owner had just sold them
