Central Locking Problem...Pls Help!

Hey guys, I have a 06/98 M3 and recently installed a new alarm in it. Everything works good, my question is that when I go and start the car the doors automatically lock. I can open them from the inside, but I would like the doors not to lock. I remember, before I installed the alarm...the doors didn't auto lock. Help me out!

This is a setting on the alarm.

Is this aftermarket? I would love for mine to do that.

It's likely that the alarm module has some jumpers or DIPs to enable/disable this kind of features. Look in the manual.
