damaged goods via shipping

anyone have experience mail ordering wheels that during shipping where damaged? How did the companies involved resolve it? How long did it take?

If it is UPS they will act very fast. Just file a claim and they usually have an adjuster contact you within a week and settle within a month or so.

The shipper must file the claim.

With ups I think the person who receives the item can file

I called the company that shipped the goods and they filed with UPS. UPS picked them up and now I'm just waiting for UPS to contact the vendor. But inthe mean time I stuck with out a set of wheel s that I need to use!
