I'm looking to put some ZKW's in the M3 however I noticed on Turners website it says "May not fit with Dinan Intake" Anyone have any experience with these two?

Will work/not work?

All you need to do is remove the driverside lowbeam rear cover and the bracket that is just above your CAI filter. You don't have to cut anything on your car or headlights. You won't need bracket because light will wedge CAI fileter against chassis. I'd try to get them from Umnitza because he has great customer service and will help you step by step with any questions on install

Mine fits just fine. I cannot use the DINAN heat shield because of where the intake is placed, but oh well. I may make my own heat shield someday, but because of where the intake is placed, I seriously doubt you even NEED a heatshield.

Mine fits with no problem at all, but I have a Dinan intake from a 330i.

This is the thread I got from DTM Power (from SG_M3 here). After following his directions, I got the ZKWs to fit perfectly with the Dinan CAI.

Hope that helps,

++edit++ Just realized the link didn't post correctly - try searching on dtmpower and you should be able to find it.

Thanks guys for the info. I'll give it a shot.

Also I like turners Phillips HID kit but i'd rather get the 5000k bulbs instead of the 4100k..Can I buy the HID bulbs somewhere else? H1..

You'll see where it gets caught up a bit, and will figure out how to make it all work. Goodluck.

Sorry to bump a month old thread, but does anyone know if the air intake on the Dinan supercharger makes it difficult to install ZKW's too or is it just the CF CAI?

Peace

Oh, it does. I just posted in your other thread, but I did the ZKWs in my M w/ the Dinan S/C. I could not find a way for it to fit without trimming the low beam cap and the plastic knob on the back. I also had to push the HFM against the supercharger housing, which paul e assured me was ok. Search for a thread I started about it about a month back.
