Some people have had good results when installing them straight up with the BMW alignment tool, while other have had loads of problems installing them that way.

I installed mine just as I would have the stock cams. Since i'd heard about the abnomalities with some of them I checked the profile of the lobes and they looked identical (well, except for the lift and duration part). Car is running great now!

I bought mine new from Turner in April, so maybe look at the purchase date for a guide?
