I am building my own turbo kit for my e30, and I came across the common problem of trying to find an exaust manifold. I decided that if proturbo can make them, I can to. My first manifold was a direct copy of a protubo manifold and worked well except that I had to romove the exaust manifolds to remove it, and it took up alot of room very near the oil filter and a/c parts. I came up with a new way of making an adapter that takes up much less space and does not in any way interfere with spark plugs, oil filter, or a/c. It can be easily removed in minutes without removing any other parts to do so. It can even be removed with the turbo still attatched.
If anybody is interested in buying one, reply and let me know.
They will come with all gaskets nessesary for install.
They are flanged for a t3 or t3/t4 turbo.
They will include your choice of a 35 or 38 mm wastegate flange.
Price will be as follows,
without wastegate flange- $200 including gaskets, shipping, and instructions
with wastegate flange- $250 including gaskets, shipping, and instructions
They are not availible yet but I can begin making them right away if anybody is interested.
Please reply soon and look back again tomarro as I will then post pictures of what I have come up with.

There should be no problem with either but where is your remote filter located?

Here are the pics of what they look like, also I realize that there are other manifolds and adapters out their for sale, but I am only trying to offer another option that is more compact and cost effective.
This one is the one I installed in my own car. This one is oriented to fit a 38mm wastegate and a t3/t4 turbo. The wastegate and turbo have about an inch and a half clearance from everything and the a/c system has not been touched at all. Please excuse the poor quality of pictures on image m1 and m5.

I would not know for sure. Put up a pic of your engine compartment and I will see if I could make something for you. Also if you are willing to pay shipping both ways I may be able to send one to you and you can try it?

Just want to make note that flipping the manifolds takes a bit of work. Here's a coupe pics from another E30 forum members car that used his own flipped manifold adapter design showing the slotted bolt holes and the amount of materials that needs to be ported the ports to line up. This type of setup does limit the use of larger turbos (a Holset even a "small" H1E would take some creativity to clear the hood.

Not flaming or shooting your product down. Just stating two points of this type of setup. Good luck with em. :)

You do not have to slot the bolt holes in any way but you may want to match up the ports but it only took me about 30 minutes or so and can easily be done by matching it up to the gasket. Also I have a full t3/t4 and it fits with plenty of room even with the stock hood liner.
Please note that I am in no way trying to compete or even say my product is superior to anyone elses, I am just trying to offer a different option.
Thanks you for you input.

I would love to keep the stock AC, but could you make one for a Holset HX40 and still clear the hood? They are a little bigger than the Garrett's..

I have only ever seen those on 6+ liter diesel pickups. I don't know if that would work or not.

I ordered one off Jon a few weeks ago or else I would have given your adaptor a shot. Price is good!
If you are making one for the flipped manifolds I found it was too much of a hassle to port the oe exhaust manifold so the ports match. Like the pic Jon posted it runs pretty close to the edge but it might flow better if you can correclty port the manifolds.
Good luck on your sales! I dont see any pictures though?
