i want to buy a set of M Contour or M Double Spoke wheels, size 17x7.5 or 17x8 for about $600-700...

Look around the boards man, there are tons..Contours might be a little harder to find for that price, but the 10-spokes shouldn't..

And fyi they came in 7.5" and 8.5" width, no 8.0".

Also, look at this url: www.roadfly.org and check the bmw wheels classifieds, there are a lot there as well..

Good advice above....and also consider the replicas at Tire Rack....they are about the price you are looking for. I'd suggest the 17"x7.5"....this is how the 95 M3 came, and on a TI, they will be the lighter-weight option than the staggered 7.5-8.5 setup. Your car should not be dragging around that extra wheel and tire weight. Plus the car will handle more neutrally!!!!

Tire size is going to be based on wheel width. 8.5 front 9.5 rear using 17" wheels are the biggest that will fit....and it will vary by wheel offset as to what will fit. You can get 8.5's to fit all around if you don't go staggard. As far as the tires, if you do 8.5, do 245/40-17.
