Ok I was on a hill at a stop light. I wasnt aware but my car was rolling back.

A car was coming up to the light and bam! It was loud , I knew something was messed for sure I was just concerned how bad it was.
Ok green comes the girls pulls up next to me and tell me its no prob her car is a POS anyways and leaves

So im like ok great, so i pull at the next turn and check it out...Nothing!
Not even a scratch! I was so confused I looked all over and not a single scratch and i just detailed my car so I would notce anything.
Very stange even my moulding un touched. She was in a regular sedan Ford Taurus :95

Anyways just thought Id share this experience

Cheers

You got lucky unlike me. The other day I was driving home during the night all of a sudden BOOM. I pull over front tire is flat and the car pulls to the right. After all said and done I ran over a metal rod/pipe it got caught underneath my car and fucked my whole power steering rack. The pass side is bent like a pretzel.

try running your hand around the back of your car to see if you can feel any "imperfections"

BTW, sweet interior :)

I checked everywhere, her front was at level with my rear so it would have scratched or dented my rear bumper, and it was loud enough, and i felt it too :az:
O well I guess I should thank God and leave it as luck:D

Maybe your speed was less than 5 mph. These bumbers are supposed to survive hits of that speed, or maybe even slightly more, perfectly intact. Similar thing happened to me once. I stalled while pulling out of traffic, and the guy behind me ran into the rear of my M3 with his Corolla. There was a decent bam, and judging by the bump, I was like aw crap!, that must be real bad. We checked it out, and there wasn't a scratch on either of our cars. Was cool and so we just took off.

I kinda rear ended a mercedes when i first got my e36:( It was a 2mph nudge, the mercedes was stopped and i was moving. No damage to neither of the cars. I was stoked:D That was my first accident and hopefully my last.

Check if the bumper and the rear fenders line up.

Hey ///M LIFE I have the same car as you do ( color, int, ETC.). I was just wondering were you got all of the aluminum for your interior. I would be interested in getting some for myself. I am also located in IL.

Thanks!!!

Dude! Similar thing happened to me. Guy in a moderately-riced 'Teg crept up behind me on a hill. Bang. Look in the mirror, he's all cocky, until I get out of the car (I'm pretty big) ... bwahaha! He starts stammering "um, sorry, oh, uhhh" ...

"No problem, no damage, you gonna keep your eyes peeled now?"

"Yessir."

:evil2

Love those 5 MPH bumpers. ;)
