Quick question

Hi all,

I have a problem. I drive a 2-door 94 325iS, and the right door interior panel is coming off. Not the entire panel though, just the part of the panel that acts as an armrest and has the latch for opening the door.

My question is, should I take this to an interior upholstery place, or to an actual mechanic? And, does anyone have an estimation (or guestimation) as to what it would cost to get that part of the panel replaced?

Take it to the upholstery place..i've got the same problem happening to my car too..haven't fixed it yet but plan on doing so..look up a place near you in the yellow pages or something, give em a call and have them look at it. :)

Thanks a lot man; really want to get this fixed, its really annoying when friends get in my car and are like wtf is wrong w/ your door?

hahaha. the interior door panels coming off is a real common problem on e36's way gay. how many miles on your guys' cars right now?

I've got 117000...somewhere around there :95 so much stuff to replace...:(

how much would fixing the vinyl/leather on the door panels cost? my drivers side no longer has a place for me torest my arm and its peeling where the pockets re at the bottom
