installing parts. have questions.

ok guys i need to install a few parts and i have some questions about them. i have a huge list of things to do btu i know how to do most of it. only 2 things i have no clue about are the starter and the ball joints. has anybody ever installed any of these things? maybe a diy somewhere out their? if anyboyd could offer any insight or help that would be awsome! thanks guys

forget ball joints, buy the complete lower control arms.

oh and the starters a complete bitch :(

There isn't much you can do with the ball joints. You will have to bring your whole car to a shop and have them install them. I say this because if you try to remove the control arms and bring them in you will most likely ruin the inner joints trying to remove them, and it's pretty much impossible for you to install the ball joints yourself unless you have some expensive special tools.

I would try to return them if you can because install is going to be 100+ and you can get a set of control arms for around 160 for the e36 or 300 for m3 and install yourself.
