'93 325 coupe.
This morning I noticed a noise coming from the rear of the car. It increases with speed and my best description would be of a 4x4 with mudder tires, you know, the thrum of the tread?
My first thought was rear wheel bearings so I jacked up the rear end when I got home and there is NO play in the tires when pulling/pushing at 12 & 6.
Anyone have any other thoughts or tests or suggestions?
Thanks,
Russ

Sounds like a sure sign of worn wheel bearings. Even if you don't feel any play they can be shot.
