my 93 325is vs wrx my first time at the track

My first time at the track guys today.
I ran 15.02 best time with 90mph
ran against this automatic WRX and I smoked him by a few car lenghs.
I have video of this too , not great quality , recorded with photo camera by my GF, but still,

my mods are: chip, rebuilt head (all stock parts, had to rebuild it because overreved and bent valves), lowered (not that it effects my speed)
thats about it. Stock intake, exhaust looks stock but seems a bit louder then stock so maybe an m3 exhaust.

sounds right, when my gti was bone stock it put down 155fwhp, and it ran a 14.998@92.x

that's an awesome time for a 13yr old car. good job!!!

next time you go out, you could get a 14.

damn, those are some nice numbers. how much does your car weigh? i would say you can cut ur ET down even further w/those hp figures.

well going by the specs it should weight 3,150 without the driver, i weight 150lb so 3300 total

your car should be about as fast as my gti. i havent dynoed it since the mods, but it's about 3000 w/o driver and i weigh 185, so 3185 w/driver...around 3200 with fuel. the 14.8 that i ran was with a shitty launch, but your should probably be in the same range.

lots of potential. you have a solid mid to high 14 second car on your hands. btw, when does your 3rd gear top out?

Good run Alex! What weekend did you run? I didn't run this weekend. I should have since it was only about mid50's by noon on Sunday.

Thundervalley is not a friendly track to launch at. Plus its about 4,200ft in elevation :S

My best so far at that track is 14.54 at slightly under 96mph. I need to work on my 60's alittle more (currently lower 2.2's)

325s put 160 to the wheels on a mustang dyno, so with your mods maybe
you're seeing like 165 to the wheels? Get an intake and high flow exhaust (magnaflow) and you'll some more for sure.

I dynoed mine on DynoJet and got 174 to wheels and 165 torque
