Well my car hasnt been running very well lately. I changed a bunch of things on it and it was still running ruff while idiling. SO I went pass by the dealership to buy a certain piece they said that i needed to fix the problem. They said I had a vaccum leak and that I needed to change my Crank Case Vent Valve. So I went to the dealer and bought this $60.00 piece. The guy over there who is a Service Tech told me to pull my car in and he will look at it for me. So when I pulled in and lifted my hood up he listened to the engine and said that is is running great. Then it started to act up and he asked if I put an muffler on there. I told him that i did put an aftermarket exhaust. He said that is my problem and quit looking under my hood. So the next day I went to change out this piece and I noticed that the hose that connects to the Vent Valve and the Valve Cover was broken. It was broken on the valve cover side. I took the old hose off and put a new hose on. Started my car up and it runs just lovely. So now I will never believe another dealership again. Just cause I put and aftermarket exhasut on my car he automatically assumed that was the proble. Where it was only a 2 dollar problem. A teacher once told me Assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups. Now I understand what she meant by that. Dotn assume anything cause you might be wrong and fuck some shit up.Also the pice that I bought I didnt even need. So after all that it was good.
Just thought I would let everyone know that my problem was not in the muffler but a 2 dollar hose.:)
